Industrial Type 3 fire hose with potable water capability

Rapier – Now with Potable Water Capability

The trusted Rapier fire hose has been enhanced for even greater versatility. It features a robust TPU internal lining that’s seamlessly bonded to its textile reinforcement – ensuring lasting strength and reliability in demanding conditions.

Its tough PVC/Nitrile rubber blend outer cover resists abrasion and wipes clean easily from oils, dirt, and grime. AS 2792 Type 3-certified fire hose in popular sizes, Rapier remains a go-to choice for fire brigades and industrial applications.
New! Rapier is now available with a blue lining that meets AS/NZS 4020 standards for safe drinking water use, making it ideal for temporary water bypass systems in municipal and mining environments.

This lightweight low-volume hose is available in red, with yellow, blue, and green options to help distinguish between fire hose (red) and wash-down hose (blue) on the same industrial site. Rapier requires no drying, stores compactly, and is compatible with a wide range of securely fitted couplings.

Crusader Hose offers a wide range of couplings securely fitted to the hose. A test certificate can be provided if required. This allows you to confidently protect life and property with a fully approved and tested fire hose.

Large choice of
diameters & lengths

Rapier is available in diameters of 25mm to 102mm. Usually this hose is supplied in 30m lengths but longer lengths can be made up to 200m.

Long-lasting &
high-quality product

Like all our fire hose, Rapier comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. The Rapier is easy to store and does not require drying.
